Dracs 0-1 Newport City
Cardiff Draconians were narrowly beaten 0–1 by Newport City on Saturday in a tight JD Cymru South contest.
There was little margin between the sides across the afternoon, with Dracs staying in the game and competing throughout. The visitors ultimately took the points by the narrowest of margins, leaving Dracs frustrated after a match that remained finely balanced for long periods.
Dracs stayed disciplined and worked hard to keep the game within reach, but could not find the equaliser after Newport’s decisive goal. It was a contest defined by a single moment from a set piece.
Although the result went against them, there were positives in the commitment and organisation shown across the pitch. On another day, the game could easily have turned on one key chance at the other end.
